Helen Hunt has enjoyed a distinguished career as an Academy Award-winning actress and, more recently, an accomplished writer, director and producer. Her extensive and diverse body of work includes roles in film, theater and television. She most recently was seen in “The Miracle Season,” opposite Erin Moriarty and William Hurt, and in Netflix’s “Candy Jar,” opposite Christina Hendricks and Uzo Aduba. She is working now on Zodiac Picture’s horror-thriller “I See You.” Hunt was last seen on television in the Fox drama series “Shots Fired,” which examines the dangerous aftermath of racially charged shootings in a small North Carolina town. Additional television credits include her Emmy- and Golden Globe-winning role as Jamie Buchman on “Mad About You” and the critically acclaimed HBO miniseries “Empire Falls.” She received the Oscar, Golden Globe Award and Screen Actors Guild Award for her role in “As Good as It Gets.” As a director, she helmed an episode of Ryan Murphy’s FX anthology series “Feud: Bette and Joan,” CBS’s “Life in Pieces” and NBC’s “This is Us.” In 2007, she co-wrote, produced, directed and starred in the film “Then She Found Me,” based on the novel by Elinor Lipman. In 2014, Hunt wrote, directed, produced and starred in her second feature film, “Ride.” Her Broadway theater credits include “Twelfth Night” and “Life X Three.”
