Annette Franke is Vice President, Kroger Technology, Talent Strategy & Partner Management for The Kroger Co., based in Cincinnati. She currently has responsibility for developing the global talent strategy and driving its execution on behalf of the Kroger enterprise. Previously, Annette was Chief Operating Officer (COO) for Kroger’s Sunrise Technology, LLC, and was responsible for the Sunrise commercialization strategy and market development for its suite of products, including Shelf EDGE, Sensor Network and many others. Before joining Kroger, Annette was V.P. Program Management Office, at LexisNexis.
Previously she also spent 7 years in management consulting at Deloitte and more than 11 years at Ethicon Endo-Surgery, a Johnson & Johnson company, as Worldwide Director, IT. There she had global responsibility for IT teams supporting global supply chain, manufacturing operations, quality and regulatory, human resources and financial systems platforms. Annette joined Kroger in 2011 in her current role.
Annette earned a bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Cincinnati. She sits on the University of Cincinnati’s Carl H. Lindner College of Business Operations Business Analytics and Information Systems (OBAIS) Advisory Board and serves as the Chairperson for the Food Marketing Institutes Technology Council. Annette was named one of Progressive Grocers’ 2014 Top Women in Grocery and was previously named one of Cincinnati’s “One Hundred Wise Women”. She has served on multiple non-profit boards and is very active in the Cincinnati community.
