Alison Kenney Paul, a past NEW Board chair, serves as Deloitte’s global lead partner for Wal-Mart Stores Inc., where she is responsible for the firm’s relationship with client stakeholders, recruiting and developing talent to serve Wal-Mart Stores’ complex business needs and ensuring service excellence across the globe. In this role, she oversees and manages the delivery of all professional services, leading a team of professionals in more than two dozen countries providing innovative solutions across multiple disciplines. Previously she served as U.S. retail leader, responsible for overseeing one of the largest industry practices at Deloitte with more than 1,400 professionals. Kenney Paul has nearly 30 years of business development and marketing experience, having formerly worked at Procter & Gamble, Information Resources Inc. and a number of high-tech startups. Since joining Deloitte in 2002, she has been assisting consumer goods and retail clients with strategic planning and improving operational efficiencies. Kenney Paul serves on the board of directors of the National Retail Federation. She is a member of the International Women’s Forum. She was named one of Profiles in Diversity Journal’s “2011 Women Worth Watching.” Kenney Paul holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
