Ashley McEvoy is leading globally integrated businesses in large and growing healthcare spaces as company group chairman of Johnson & Johnson Vision Care and Johnson & Johnson Diabetes Care. The companies, best known for their iconic and market-leading Acuvue contact lenses and OneTouch blood glucose monitors and strips, have annual sales in excess of $4 billion. Previously, McEvoy served as worldwide president of Ethicon Inc., the largest surgical company in the world, where she brought dynamic energy to a 100-year-old, $2.5 billion surgical suture business. McEvoy also served as president of McNeil Consumer Healthcare with oversight of the company’s $2.5 billion U.S. over-the-counter medicine business and global management of the respiratory health, pain and digestive health franchises. Throughout her career, McEvoy has championed diversity and inclusiveness, believing that innovation and business success stem from a creative mix of personalities, skills and backgrounds. She serves on the boards of several Philadelphia-area nonprofit organizations. McEvoy obtained her bachelor’s degree from the University of Pennsylvania.
