Trish Adams is executive vice president, merchandising product group, responsible for overseeing Target’s product design and development, sourcing and visual merchandising groups. She previously served as executive vice president, apparel and home, where she led a team of merchants and product designers to develop and execute Target’s apparel and home strategy. Adams joined Target in 1983 and has held leadership positions within merchandising, including senior vice president, apparel and accessories and general merchandise manager, children’s. She is the executive sponsor of Target’s Women’s Business Council, a resource group focused on developing and engaging female leaders at Target. She is a NEW board member and a member of the National Association for Female Executives. In 2009, she was voted one of the 100 most creative people in business by Fast Company and was recognized by the Diversity Journal with the Company and Executive Women Worth Watching Award in 2011. Adams holds a bachelor of science degree in business administration from Montclair State University.
